Welcome to Kobi’s Events Center! By booking our venue, using our services, or interacting with our website (www.kobisevents.com), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a smooth and successful event experience.
1. General Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, payments, cancellations, rescheduling, and use of our facilities and services. Kobi’s Events Center reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. All changes will be posted on our website. By confirming your booking, you agree to abide by all listed terms.
2. Booking & Payment Policy
✔ Deposit Requirement: A minimum of 30% advance payment is required to secure your event date. No date will be considered booked without this deposit.
✔ Full Payment: The full balance must be paid at least one month before the event date.
✔ Payment Methods: We accept cash, cheques (payable to Kobi’s Events Center), and bank transfers.
✔ Venue Inspection: Clients are encouraged to visit the venue or send a representative to confirm its suitability before booking.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
✔ Cancellations made 3+ months before the event: Full refund of all payments made.
✔ Cancellations 2 months prior: 30% penalty on total booking amount.
✔ Cancellations 1 month prior: 50% penalty.
✔ Cancellations within 2 weeks: No refunds.
✔ Refund Process: Approved refunds will be processed within 3 months from the cancellation date.
✔ Force Majeure (e.g. Pandemic): If an event must be postponed due to health emergencies (like COVID-19), clients may reschedule within 2 months at no additional cost, subject to date availability.
4. Event Expectations & Responsibilities
✔ A GHS 1,000.00 refundable security deposit is required before the event to cover any potential damages.
✔ If no damage is observed, this amount will be fully refunded post-event.
✔ If damage exceeds GHS 1,000.00, the client is responsible for paying the difference.
✔ Venue Restrictions:
❌ No posters or papers may be attached to walls
❌ No smoking indoors.
❌ No open flames or fire in the garden space.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate details regarding event date, time, type, and estimated number of guests.
All final setup preferences must be communicated in advance.
Any last-minute changes may incur additional charges and are subject to availability.
6. Limitation of Liability
Kobi’s Events Center is not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including:
Weather conditions
Third-party vendor issues
Power outages (backup options available on request)
Clients agree to hold Kobi’s Events Center harmless for any such occurrences.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
All client information shared during booking is confidential and protected under our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, share, or misuse your personal data.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
In the event of natural disasters, pandemics, government-imposed restrictions, Kobi’s Events Center will make every effort to reschedule your event at no penalty.
